Joella Gibson
2014 Joella Gibson NY (PG)

.

Gibson is a hard noise in your face point guard on the defensive end. While only standing 5 foot 6 inches, she was the only bright spot for her Manhattan team. She showed the ability to blow by defenders, finish over bigger players in traffic and knocked down the spot up three pointers. During the Wheelchair classic, she faced a number of D1 signee and prospects and never backed down from the demanding task on running her less talented team. Joella currently plays for the NY Gauchos program and attends Murry Bergtraum HS.

Brandi Segar
2015 Brandi Segas NY (Wing)

Segas played for the federation state champion Bishop Ford HS; she played a pivotal part in the run. Brandi showed up at the Wheelchair Classic in top shape and ready to play, playing on the state power she was utilized as a role player. During the wheelchair classic, she showed that she may be more than just and after though, showing some range on her shoot and demonstrating the abilities to handle the ball. At the Collegiate level, she will be more of a combo forward, with her ability to perform on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Brandi plays for New heights.

Aaliyah Jones
2014 Aaliyah Jones NY (combo)

Jones was the biggest surprise in the state this past year, winning the New York writers association class AA Player of the year. Jones just continues to improve every time out, playing on a stacked Brooklyn team with many D1 players. Aaliyah was a standout in the open floor and also with her abilities to knock down long bombs. The 5 foot 7 long and lean guard make an impression with her ability to play the point which is some what under appreciated.
