About The Tour
This year's tour will celebrate charming historic homes, venerable estates, and enchanting contemporary gardens nestled amidst the natural beauty and captivating serenity of New Jersey's Great Swamp Watershed region.
Find new inspiration for your springtime planting, landscaping, and interior design while you explore nine distinguished locations in Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Chatham, Harding, Long Hill, and Morristown.
One of the most distinguished sites on the tour is located in Millington, NJ. With a pedigree stretching back to 1735, it remains one of the oldest homes erected in this small hamlet of Long Hill Township.
Another tour home of note was first constructed in 1865 in Morristown, NJ. Curiously, in 1902, the entire structure was lifted and carried by horse and cart to Meyersville Road in Harding.
