Brandy Zdan Concert in South Haven
Emerging for the first time as a solo artist in 2013, Brandy Zdan is anything but a rookie. In 2003 Zdan co-founded Twilight Hotel with Dave Quanbury and together they recorded 2 JUNO nominated albums (Canada's Grammy equivalent) - 2008's Highway Prayer and 2010's When the Wolves Go Blind - forging a sound that critics likened to "old leather, worn and soft" and earned them the handle "rulers of their own genre."
$15 reserved, $10-15 suggested donation at door.

Can you imagine the South Haven Pier without our famous lighthouse? It could happen. Our century old South Haven lighthouse is in need of some major attention! It looks beautiful on the outside, of course, but on the inside it's a different story! Corrosion is threatening to destroy the base, seams, windows and stairs. It has been estimated that the cost of repairs to preserve our lighthouse for another 100 years will be $275,000. In 2012 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers handed ownership over to the Historical Association of South Haven who has recently made a separate committee to collect financial support for preservation efforts. You can attend an information session on February 26 at the Historic Hartman School at 5:30pm. In the meantime, be sure to check out their website at www.southhavenlight.org and YouTube video! |
