Motorists to Receive Respite From Fast-Moving Automobiles | |
Construction work has commenced on Westpark Drive for a new mobility project being installed by Westchase District. A
T-intersection is being constructed at Westcenter and Westpark Drives.
The special median is being installed that will allow motorists turning left off of Westcenter to wait in a dedicated "channel" to merge into eastbound traffic.
Barring any weather delays, construction should take about three weeks.

Blue Star: Madison Park Earns HPD Ranking
|
|
 Madison Park of Westchase has become the newest apartment community in Westchase District to have passed the Houston Police Department's rigorous Blue Star certification process.
This three-step process includes eight hours of management training, followed by an onsite property inspection. Finally, the community must agree to enforce enhanced tenant screening procedures and host a public safety meeting to inform residents of their participation in the Blue Star program. Only 30 communities in Westchase District have received the Blue Star designation.
That represents 58-percent of all Westchase District apartment communities that are Blue Star certified, compared to the City of Houston where only 4-percent of all communities are Blue Star certified.
