Daily themes intend to inspire reflection, creativity

Rethink Church is challenging United Methodist congregations to take their Lenten experience a step further. With a photo-a-day project, churches can capture in pictures what Lent means to them. You and your church can learn more and join in by going to the  Rethink Church Spirituality page online.

Transforming Ministries 4
Sponsored by Western Jurisdiction College of Bishops

The Western Jurisdiction College of Bishops will host Transforming Ministries 4 from May 26 to 28 at Glendale United Methodist Church, 134 N. Kenwood St., Glendale, CA, 91206. Transforming Ministries 4 will offer a unique opportunity for participants to enter into meaningful dialogue with the Bishops of the Western Jurisdiction. The cost is $350. Missionary Focus

This month's Missionary Focus is on Carol Partridge, who is the Director of Christian Education at the United Methodist Church in Macedonia. She has been serving there since 2000. The Rocky Mountain Conference churches in covenant with Partridge are Steamboat Springs UMC, Estes Park UMC, Central UMC Colorado Springs, Green Mountain UMW of Lakewood and Trinity UMC Denver. She will be itinerating in the Rocky Mountain Conference from April 8 to 15. More information about the RMC's Missionary Covenants are on the Missionary Covenants page online. Colorado Flood Recovery Newsletter

The Rocky Mountain Conference UMCOR Flood Recovery Team will be distributing a monthly newsletter beginning in March with progress updates, calls for volunteers and stories of healing. This monthly newsletter will be added to the Rocky Mountain Conference communications list through the end of this year until the flood recovery project is completed.
