| DCSD Loves Denver Nuggets Community Nights! |
Over 3,600 Douglas County School District supporters attended DCSD Community Night with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, January 25. Nearly $15,000 was raised for DCSD schools as fans watched the Nuggets beat the Indiana Pacers 109-96!
DCSD Community Night also featured the Roxborough Intermediate choir singing the National Anthem, Bear Canyon Elementary assisting in the Flag Ceremony, and a spirited half time performance by ThunderRidge High School Cheer. The top selling schools, Frontier Valley Elementary, Rock Ridge Elementary, Roxborough Schools and Cimarron Middle School, were acknowledged in a special on-court presentation and each school received an autographed basketball. The 8 top selling schools were selected to participate in special events such as Court Time, High-five Fan Tunnels and Red, White and Blue Crew.
Visit the DCEF website for information on upcoming community nights.

2014 Apple Awards Celebrate Excellence & Commitment
|
The DCEF is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Apple Awards on Sat., March 1, 2014, to be held at the Sheraton Downtown Denver. As the marquee event for the Foundation, this occasion is an opportunity to honor outstanding educators in our District. Our success is largely credited to sponsors, who lend their financial support to the event. We are counting on our partnership with you to help make this year's affair an unforgettable night for our outstanding teachers and staff. Please consider sponsoring an outstanding educator and guest to attend the event. Single tickets are $75 each; a table sponsorship is $1,500. DCEF Chapters are encouraged to sponsor additional seats for guests of your school's honorees. Ask your Principal if there is a need. Please contact Carol Stulz at 303-387-0504 or carol.stulz@dcsdk12.org for more information. Thank you in advance for your support. |
