February: American Heart Month
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death for Americans.
Heart disease can often be prevented when healthy choices are made and health conditions are managed. With February being known as American Heart Month, we want to help educate our Smith House residents on how they can stay active and healthy.

Help our residents begin a healthy lifestyle by providing them opportunities to learn and grow. You can help by volunteering or sponsoring various activities such as:
  • Teach a healthy cooking class
  • Sponsor a bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail
  • Chaperone evening walks
  • Plan a healthy picnic outing
If you want to help educate the residents about living a heart-healthy life, please contact Brandon Blake at (864) 516-1237 or by email.

Thank you so much to the donors and sponsors who provided holiday donations in December to help us create a joyous holiday season for our clients. We were overjoyed with the amount of donations we received from the Greenville community!

Your generosity helped many children, young adults and families have a holiday to remember!
