Involve Us in Your Excellence!
In last month's issue of the AV-ator, one of our tips on controlling AV costs mentioned the importance of giving early notice on upcoming events and communicating with us on programming changes.

Not only will this help you control your AV costs, it better helps us support your excellence!

With ample advance notice, we can make sure you have your favorite staff to work with and that all the equipment you need is in stock  We'll even visit your event venue to assure that no adjustments are needed to make it work for your program.

While we always strive to create the best show ever for you, and give you the preferential treatment you deserve, the more notice we have the better we can support your excellence!

Did You Know...
Cheshire is a community-oriented organization.  Each year, it is involved in a number of philanthropic initiatives that support various non-profit organizations within our community, such as the Kirch Center at Golisano Children's Hospital and Hillside Children's Center.

During 2012, with your support, we were able to raise close to $5500 for charitable initiatives.

We couldn't do it without you!

Check out the article in this newsletter on our tour of Golisano Children's Hospital.

Techorating = creating an immersion branding experience

The word techorate defines a popular trend in home dcor, coined to define the blending of modern technology with the art of decorating to create a functional, yet stylish environment. Now, audio visual professionals are taking this trend to a whole new level of use in meetings, special events and trade shows.

Techorating is about helping your customer make the transition from the outside environment to an immersion branding experience. It's about building a 360 encounter that represents your company and event the way you want your attendees to know you.

Check Presentation
Presenting this year's check

This marks the fifth year that Cheshire has held a golf tournament to benefit the Kirch Developmental Services Center at Golisano Children's Hospital.  When Justin Cheshire, Dave Eggers and Debbie Harradine went to present the check for this year's tournament, they were treated to a tour that made them feel like royalty by Golisano's Assistant Director of Community Affairs, Michael Fahy.

"Golisano Children's Hospital is a very special place," shared Justin. "They provide excellent care and it's very family-oriented. No matter what's going on, they take care of the needs of everyone in the family."

This fall marks the groundbreaking on an expansion of the University of Rochester Medical Center that will offer eight floors and 245,000 square feet of space designed specifically for children and their families.

"The new facility will be even more welcoming to families because each family unit will have its own dedicated space once the building is finished," explained Justin.

The new facility will have a resource center, a toddler playroom, a two-story playdeck, a school room, a teen room and other kid-friendly amenities. It is currently scheduled to be finished in 2015.

"We really enjoyed and appreciated the tour," said Justin, "and it was a wonderful surprise to see our company recognized on a plaque for its contributions to the hospital."
