Why Live in Perry Hall?
 | |
Ashley McLean Alpine, NY
|
"Currently I live at home, go to school full-time, and work a 30-hour per week job just to pay for gas for the commute to school four times a week. I think being on campus gives me more time to focus on my studies rather than spending two hours in a car each day commuting to and from class. I think overall it will help me become a better student and that's what I should be focusing on at this point in time.
I'm most looking forward to the ability to use my resources at the College more. We have a beautiful 250 acres and seven miles of trails in our Spencer Crest Nature Center. I'm a Recreation major so the outdoors is something I absolutely enjoy. The fact that I can walk out the backdoor and head out onto a nice trail so close to campus and just appreciate the outdoors is exciting."
"I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making new friendships.
I love that CCC has a very relaxed environment. I've heard horror stories from both friends and classmates of the stress of other colleges. CCC takes a very relaxed approach to teaching the same material, at a much more affordable price."

Her outstanding efforts resulted in designation as an All-Mid State Athletic Conference player and All-Region III selection. She hit .414 in the lead-off spot, belted 6 doubles and 2 HR's, while collecting 20 RBI's and drawing 18 walks.
In addition, Aja served as a starter for the 2011 Red Barons soccer team splitting time between stopper and keeper during her freshman campaign. Chemical technicians work in research, process improvement, product development, measurement documentation, environmental testing and quality control. They help design, set up and analyze experiments in research, product/process development and quality control. They select and order materials and equipment, operate sophisticated instruments and perform physical and chemical analyses on raw materials and products.
The Chemical Technology program is flexible. It emphasizes fundamentals and practical applications in order to train students for immediate employment with a two-year degree and also prepares them to continue to work towards an advanced degree. Many employers encourage technicians to continue their education by granting release time and paying tuition.
