Homecoming was a Win in Many Ways!
What a night! There was spectacular football, great people, and a halftime show that most won't forget anytime soon. After the game, the homecoming court honors, the raffle winners, and the (literal) fireworks, the alumni gathered in the Cavalier gymnasium. There were alumni from across the decades there. We believe David Reidt '58 was the oldest alumni in attendance and members of the 2012 graduating class were the youngest Cavalier alumni there. Worth noting, they all recently graduated college.

Serra was at the Re-Grand Opening
The Serra Marching Band and Cheerleaders were on sight last Thursday as the City of Gardena and Garenda Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed back McDonald's on Redondo Beach Blvd. after months of remodeling.
The Cavalier Marching Band performed an original song at the Re-Grand Opening, "Do you want a Big Mac?".
The cheerleaders performed a routine and then were the first to break in the brand new jungle-gym.
Fast forward to today, a McDonald's representative (right) presented Principal Jeff Guzman (left) with a check for the Marching Band and Cheer programs. Be on the look out for future fundraisers at McDonald's.
