Aladdin Jr. The Musical
It's not too late to attend the opening of Aladdin Jr.tonight at 7:00PM in the Serra theatre, also known as the Serra Gym.  We do know Bob '61 and Sara Caniglia will be in attendance tonight.  If you do not attend tonight, you can attend Saturday night, May 14th, at 7:00PM.

The Players after 2nd Class

The special Alumni day will be Sunday, May 15th, beginning at 2:00PM.   Our Director, Adriana Encelon is the class of '03.  We have exclusive information that over the 3 day run, the class of '03 will have more alumni at the play than any other class.

The Bertrand's at the Fall Play's Rose Ceremony

Jessica Garcia '03, Jackie Ramirez '03, Mary Barba '03 & Dashan Nettles '03 all will be attending.  Mike Almaraz '75 will be joining the Sunday afternoon rose presentation.  It is not too late to tell us you will join other alumni Sunday afternoon for the final performance of Aladdin Jr. and secure a spot in the rose line.
Will Anyone Defeat The Incredible Tim Boyer '70
While you are at the play, it will be possible to sign up for the Inaugural Serra High School Golf Classic.  We have it on good authority that 5 members of the championship '69 baseball team will be playing as well as Remford Metoyer '70, Track Coach Marsha Williams, Gerry Philpott '75, Dave Williams '81, Chuck Burnett '75, and Robert Castro '75.

This week the great Tim Boyer '70 gets serious about his putting.  He has his woods down, his iron play is sharp and he has now turned to Aladdin Jr. Director Adriana Encelon '03 is coaching as hard as she can. Adriana is aghast with his form.

Kevin Cormier '76 (Mt. Carmel) heard that Mr. Boyer sought help from Adriana. So he asked for her assistance. However, Adriana made Kevin promise to attend the Sunday afternoon performance of Aladdin before agreeing to coach him.

Shall we note that Torrance High School has a foursome, signed up and paid for the Inaugural Golf Classic.  Hmmmmmm. Will any other current or former high schools match it?
Do You Want to be Part of Setting a Record?
Serra's record for alumni gifts in the modern era (since 2007-08) was set in 2012-13 at $145,151. We have set a new record.  As of today the Alumni has raised $153,269. With the '66 reunion and the inaugural golf tournament (still golf slots left), how high can we go?

The Alumni & Development Office raises money for financial aid/tuition assistance. Serra has a system in place based on need, grades, citizenship & Christian community service. If you want to know more, contact us. If you have not made a gift this year, you can only claim to be a part of the 2015-16 alumni record year by going on line and clicking here and going to "Give" or by putting a check in the mail.

'66 will move way up the lists with its '66 reunion.  They have 32 registered and the event is not until June 11th 2016. Last year '65 knocked off '61 as the class leader in donations with their reunion, will histroy repeat?
Do You Want to be Part of Setting a Record? PART 2
You don't have to be an alumnus to be a part of a record.  Serra's non-alumni individual donor (not foundations or corporations or other organizations) record was set last year at $127,171. Today we are at $125,233. If you have not made a gift this year, you can only claim to be a part of the 2015-16 alumni record year by going on line and clicking here and going to "Give" or by putting a check in the mail.

To get serious.......the end of the school year is here.  We have seniors who qualify for tuition assistance based on need, grades, citizenship; they have performed their Christian service hours etc.   We want to deliver the tuition they qualify for.
