Chuck Hohn '67 brought his 1939 Ford Tudor Sedan to school along with his entry fee for the Booster's Club Car Show. Will there be a trophy for the brightest yellow car? April 30 is the date of the event. There is still time to register a Car.

For attendees, you have from 10:00AM until 2:00PM on April 30 to view the cars, visit our sponsors, like Pacific Motorcars, The Alumni Council will be awarding 2 trophies.......one will be the Alumni Trophy,  the 2nd is the "The Really Good Car Alumni Trophy."

Will a current Serra student be the first student to have an entry in the car show while still a Serra student?
Lady Cav Comes Through
Alumni Council member and Edelman Public Relations guru, Shamira Brown-Sadler '00, was instrumental in Serra receiving a Community Investment Grant from the Global Engagement and Corporate Responsibility Group of Edelman Public Relations. Serra's application was "among the most inspiring examples of how Edelman employees are making a difference in their communities." Thanks to Shamira and Edelman Public Relations.

Mark Dunn, '76  always reminds us to remind you to find out if your employer makes matching gifts.

Mark is chairing the '76 reunion to be held on October 15.  More later.

Shamira'00 takes employer giving to a higher level.  Find out if your employer has a  program like Edelman Public Relations.

Father Robert's Visitor

While there are other places to visit in Southern California,  none are as important as Serra High School.  When Father Robert Hodges O'Praem., Serra's Chaplain, was visited by his niece, Dr.  Laura Nemer, a tour of Serra headed the list. Dr. Nemer is on staff at the University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Father Robert is joined by Todd LaVergne '94 on the left  and Marketing and Admissions Director Thomas Stafford.
