Congratulations To Us
Congratulations to our alumni, students, parents and fans who attended the games Wednesday night. Everyone pitched in and made room in a packed gym for our guests from Fairfax and Venice High Schools. After the boys game, the Venice Athletic Director, with a slight paraphrase, told us, "We really appreciate the courtesy everyone showed us. Serra is a class act."
A special thanks to DeShawn Burton '88, our game announcer.

Ladies First
The 5th seeded Division I Lady Cavs led off the first game of the doubleheader last night in the Serra gym with a close 63-55 win over a very good Fairfax team. The Lady Cavs travel to play 4th seeded Vista Murrieta Saturday night at 6:00PM at Vista Murrieta High School.
Let's see how many Murrietians, Elsinorians, Temeculans, and other local Serra Alumni show up.
Find each other, take some good pictures, and send them to us.

A Huge Success and A Massive Failure
At half time of the Lady Cavs Division 1 play-off game last night (Wednesday) Austin Jackson '01 and Chris Calvin '06 played an exciting Golf Competition with a new Jeep as a prize as a promotion the Golf Tournament and the Car Show.
Alas, we failed to take any pictures of that competition. In addition, without photo documentation, the outcome is in dispute..
We are planning a rematch of this golf competition at half time of the Serra vs. Grossmont game Saturday night.
One participant will be English teacher Kasi Royster, verses a Special Guest Star.
