Cavalier Model UN in New York
Our Model UN Team (MUN) is in New York to compete in the National High School Model UN conference. Our team attended a Knicks game and, Lo and Behold, there was Serra High School from Gardena, CA on the Jumbotron. We don't know how this happened.... But it did.

Cavs Meet with Lithuanians
Serra will be representing Lithuania at the conference. The Cavaliers attended the opening ceremony featuring a presentation by US Ambassador to the United Nations, Ms. Samantha Powers. Then the Cavs attended a meeting at the Lithuanian Permanent Mission to the United Nations to gather more information to use as they represent Lithuania at the conference.
More when our diplomats return.

CIF 4AA Boys Basketball Finals
Serra and Notre Dame will play at Azusa Pacific University tomorrow, March 4, 2016 at 6:45pm.
The trip from the great southwest is a long one. It looks as if 2 rooter buses are being filled with parents, friends and students. We think we have one alumnus living in Azusa. Robert, we hope you can come. We think we have 2 alumni residing in Glendora. Patrick, Jimmy, and Mike, we hope you can be there too. Both our boys and girls play exciting, relentless basketball. C'mon out.

Lion's Club Speech Contest
Abeil Tsegee, Serra Senior, is shown here delivering his speech in the second round of the Lions Club speech competition representing the Gardena Lions Club. The Gardena members were very proud Abeil's performance. A side story.... Abeil's part time job is with Serra promotional partner Ramona's Restaurant.
