Father Junipero Serra will be canonized on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015.
Serra's students will witness the broadcast in the gym as a school assembly.

Let's Get Started
August 28, 2015, Serra kicks off the season against the Lakewood Lancers.  Serra opens the season ranked 1st in the South Bay, 9th in California and 82th in the United States.  Go to Max Preps to learn more.  Always tough Lakewood is 96th in CA and 1155 in the U.S.

Lakewood's stadium is located at 4400 Briercrest Ave. Lakewood, CA 90713 and kick-off is 7:00. If you live in south east LA County or northwest Orange County, of course, you will be at the game.

The Old Days

In the fall of 1957, Serra High School was the last team to play without face masks in the C.I.F.

In the fall of 1989,  Serra High School won its first State Championship by defeating Lompoc 34-31.

In the fall of 2009,  Serra High School won another State Championship.

In the fall of 2012, Serra High School won yet another State Championship.

The Honor Bowl

Serra plays Corona Centennial next week on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of the PAC-5 playoff match that Corona won 68-64. 

The Honor Bowl is an important event.  If you live in south Orange County or north San Diego County,you do not want to miss this. Tickets will be $10.00. A rooter bus will be coming from Serra High School.

We suggest you go online and learn about the importance of the Honor Bowl. You will learn why Coach Altenberg and the Serra Cavaliers are proud to participate.
