This from Bryan Genez '64. Bryan wanted to know if Serra could accept a gift of appreciated stock. Yes, we can. Bryan is making a gift to the Alumni Scholarship and will be investing in the education of four students. Thanks Bryan.

Serra's Life Team
Serra's Life Team members are shown above preparing for the annual Called and Chosen Retreat.

As a part of its mission, the Life Team performs Christian Community Service by providing volunteer services for the Special Olympics, the Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA, Heal the Bay, the Union Rescue Mission, the Midnight Mission. Meals on Wheels, MADD and many more organizations. Serra and its students are known by many for their dedication to Christian Community Service.
Welcome Class of 2015
The Class of 2015 has just been added to the newsletter list. So to welcome them, here is a repeat from the June 24 alumni newsletter.
Investment return. For fiscal year 2013-14 (14-15 is not over) Serra spent 4.1 million. Through 6/16/15 total grants and/or scholarships awarded totaled $6,752,644. $1,555,240 are athletic. Serra graduates are awarded more scholarship money than Serra spends to operate.
Serra's Class of 2015 once again all qualified for colleges/universities. The 131 graduates will be attending 107 separate four-year colleges and nine two-year schools. One of our graduates will be headed for the USAF.
