Serra Students in Action
We all know that Serra's students excel in the classrooms and on the field. Our students excel as citizens also.

Last Thursday morning, 2 students, Simeon Cooper '16 and Saire Cooper '17, were sitting on the bench outside the office in a place usually occupied by those waiting to see the Dean. Sitting on Saire's lap was a little dog, shaking, fearful, tagless, and wrapped in a blanket. We asked what produced this situation. Serra's finest replied that the little dog was following them as they walked to school. They didn't want it to get hit in traffic and they didn't want leave it cold and alone. Teacher Yolanda Morales has volunteered to give the dog a home. Mrs. Morales has named the dog Serra. You'll see Serra in the newsletter next week. You can't make this stuff up.
