If you weren't there, I don't think it was planned for anyone to learn about this game. Pat Lynch '59, our lead correspondent, was ill and could not deliver his usual stellar report. Serra finished in a 3 way tie for the Pac 5 Mission League Championship. Serra 21 beat Crespi 20, Bishop Amat 14 beat Serra 7, Crespi 32 beat Bishop Amat 31. A three way tie....Crespi won the coin flip, Amat beat Serra so Serra is a 3 seed and travels to Centennial in Corona this Friday night for a first round Pac 5 playoff game.Corona Centennial is located at 1820 Rimpau Ave. Corona, CA 92881. College Night
41 Colleges and Universities showed up for College Night in a full Gym to sell their schools to Serra students and parents. The Cal States, the UCs, LMU, Stanford, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Marist College and the USAR were some of the schools/institutions represented.
A Surprise
A whole lot of '74 Alumni showed up for the Loyola game. The longest traveler was Robert Moreland who came in from Florida. The Class of '74 will be back in January to celebrate their 40 1/12 reunion.
