Homecoming is Almost Here:
Kick-Off for the Homecoming game between Serra and Notre Dame has been changed to 7:30 because it will be televised on Prep Zone. The CIF mandates televised games to kick-off at 7:30.
5:30 Pre-Game: If you don't have your Alumni Card or Friend of Serra Card, we advise getting to the game early or go on-line and get a card by Clicking This Link. We will have your card ready for you at the front gate. The line for tickets last week was too long at kick-off.

All Alumni - Buy your Alumni Legacy Tile either at the game or on-line at This Link.
The Alumni Table will be ready by 5:30 at the front gate. Lady Cavs, stop and get your Alumni Card, and your Sip and See Ticket, or go to This Link.
7:00 Pre-Game: Those of you who want to help form our traditional pre-game tunnel for the team, get your red and blue gear and be on the north end of the track by 6:45 PM. Joe Cormier '81 and Ron Shepherd '73 will be your guides.
Special Pre-Game: We took a test run at the Narbonne Game and introduced some former players during half time. Here they are.
 | Serra Alumni Football Players Last Week |
This week, when the player's from both teams go into the locker room before the game, we want to introduce 15 Alumni players during this pre-game period. The players will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. Call the Alumni Office, 310-324-6675 Ext. 3010 or e-mail vbkates@la-serrahs.org and give your name, class year and position. If all league or all-cif, tell us that.
Please be at the south end of the tunnel by 6:45 for these introduction's. Tim Boyer '70 will be your escort.
After the Tunnel & Introductions
After the introductions please return to the bleachers. We will have a special Alumni section in the stands marked by our beautiful new Alumni Association Banner. As you know, we have to keep people off the sidelines so that we don't get penalized.
7:30 during the game. The game announcer will be introducing and asking people and groups to stand....."will Alumni from the '60s please stand," "will Alumni from the '90s please stand."

And then something special, if you were cheerleader for Serra (Girls or Boys) from Serra or? You will be asked to stand and be applauded. We will also find out if any Homecoming Queens or Kings are in attendance.
After the Game
After the game, try to leave the stands by the north end of the bleachers so you can see the Alumni Legacy Wall and walk across the courtyard to the gym.
9:30 (?) We will open the gym for the Homcoming Party 2014 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Early during the festivities, we will announce the Alumni Tile Raffle Winner. You have to be there to win. Next, we will ask each former Cheerleader to step to the microphone and give their name, school and year they cheered.
We might introduce other people.

We do know we have a Homecoming Queen who will be there.
