After defeating the Mark Keppel Lady Aztecs last Saturday Night 71 to 37 in the Serra Gym. The 5th seeded Lady Cavaliers will take on 4th seeded Etiwanda in Etiwanda Wednesday night, February 26th at 7:00PM. If you live in Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, Colton, Ontario, Claremont or the environs, get to the game. The Lady Cavaliers, with no player over 5'10, will be playing a team with 3 players listed over 6ft. After the Lady Cavs win, they will likely be playing Mater Dei.

Helena Conley '98 (right). Helena is one of Serra's strongest Alumnae supporters. Helena is at the games, is a member of the Alumni Council, will be attending the Dedication to Excellence Dinner and has purchased an ad for the Dedication Event Program.
Serra Mens Team
Serra's 12th seeded Men's team were defeated by 4th seeded Corona Centennial 81-71 last Friday night. Serra drops into the OPEN division consolation tournament and will play 5th seeded Sierra Canyon at Serra Friday night, February 28th.
Serra Alumni Brothers make Black History

It is fitting that during Black History month, Ricky Lewis '74 was recently promoted to Battalion Chief for the LA County Fire Department. His younger brother Tony Lewis, Serra class of '77 preceded Chief Ricky and was promoted to Battalion Chief in '09. We are proud of these Serra Alumni who are the first brothers to be promoted to the rank and serve at the same time as Battalion Chief Officer s in Los Angeles County history.
The Serra Family visits USC
Organized by Zac Bose '82, the Serra family visited USC, Sunday Feb. 23rd to watch the Lady Trojans play the Cal Bears. Before the game, the Serra visitors were given a tour of the USC campus by Donna Hemel, Senior Associate Athletic Director , includeing the McKay Center and Heritage Hall. After the game, Coach Cynthia Cooper gave a talk and answered questions. A great day.
