Our favorite sportswriter, Pat Lynch '59, was unable to attend Serra's 43-0 route of the Banning Pilots last Friday night. For those who have no way of knowing what happened, here is a thumbnail sketch.

Early in the first quarter, the Cavaliers tackled the Banning QB in the end zone for a safety. On Serra's next possession, Anterio Bateman scored on a 12 yard run. On the next Banning possession, they fumbled, Olajuwon Tucker scooped it up and rambled 20 yards for the score. Serra kept rolling and the half ended 43-0.

The second half was played with a running clock and a mix of the second and third teams. Final Score: Cavaliers 43-Pilots 0.

Pat, we miss you.

Get ready. Here comes the big one. Our Cavaliers are ranked 10th in the State, Narbonne is ranked 2nd in the State and 7th in the USA. They meet Friday night, September 21 at 7:00PM at Angie Kretzschmar Stadium on DeMar Harper Field.

If you are coming, get here early.
