Greetings!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter Holiday, I had to work at Home Depot for the day but I sort of slipped out early so I could go see my mother, and family together, on one of the few occasions that I get to do that.
HD must have spies in the net work because I was pulled over by the police in Hampton Falls NH. " Ran your plate and wanted to make sure it was you" no comment.
Great visit home though because we have another baby, Logan Swank, in the loop. Being a professional baby holder, I got to hold him for about an hour, he never cried once the whole time I was there. I bet he cried when I left.
Enough of the small talk. Though I came home from Florida during a snow storm this week the weather is starting to take a turn for the better and we will be ending the week in the upper sixties, so spring has sprung.
George Macgown and I are off to the Defender Marine ware house sale in Connecticut, this Coming Thursday. I have some projects that I am working on. During our sail from Savannah to Hollywood we had trouble arming the self inflating PFD'S, so I want to talk to a representative.
This year for those that are interested we will be doing a lot more advanced rope work, I have some secrets that the utube video is not showing in the splicing department.
I will be leaving for Hollywood Florida on April 16 in order to return the Ker Mor back to Savannah, Georgia. I will spend a few days in Hollywood working on the cooling system and also be available for John and his friends if they choose to go sailing while i am there.
Finally the 2016 sailing season is coming up fast, hardly a day goes by with out inquiry for Captain Ed Sailing classes, so if you are interested this is the time to think about sailing in 2016, we may get the boat in the water earlier for those who don't mind colder weather but my season is planned to start on Memorial Day weekend.

I have just built a new web page please check it out and leave a comment. I particularly like the slide shows, we have had a lot of people on the Sarah Maria and have cover a lot of ground.

Make sure to follow me on Facebook for up-to-date happenings with Captain Ed's Sailing  And watch for the next few Newsletters for holiday gift ideas!
