Captain Ed's Sailing
This is what I have been waiting for all month, although I am to lazy to look it up I believe this is the winter solstice, it should be the shortest day of the year, now the days will get longer. If you have barn yard animals living in the house with you, and at this point may have ran out of vegetables, this might be a good time to start eating them. Also if you have family members who decided in the middle of the night to go out across the marsh to visit friends, and have not come back, they probably have drowned, got lost, and froze to death, or maybe eaten by trolls, so there will be some extra space on that bed that you all share. Ah lets give thanks for the light bulb.
Some of us are still thinking of that special gift, and though it is cold and dark, it won't be for long, spring is right around the corner so a gift certificate for Captain Ed's Sailing could make a great gift. It's easy you don't even have to get off the couch, check out the coupons below and if you see one that you like. Just push the buttons until you have bought the the sailing package you want. If you don't see what you are looking for give me a call and I will try and accommodate your needs.
Save the cost of buying through Paypal by sending a check to PO Box 59 Amesbury, Ma 01913
In the mean time don't forget to forward my Newsletters to friends and to like me on Facebook. Also be sure to take my survey. Spring is coming I just know it.
For even more fun I have been adding old newsletters to my Archives, check them out for great pictures and articles.

Sailing Sessions and casual sails
This newsletter will focus on the learn to sail packages that I offer.
There are two of them each containing four classes each, the first being the four class session sailing package.
Each week through my mailing list I will offer at least one of the classes that I list here, if it is a class that you are interested just sign up for it. Throughout the summer I will offer different classes based on these classes. In order to fill the boat with four persons the class may have folks in it who would prefer to just sail and not anchor or do man overboards. This is a good thing as these folks are repeat clients and can hold a course while I teach the skills that you need to know. If you buy a 4 class sailing package you can take a casual sail any time you want as long as there is enough interest, of which there is through out the week as well as the weekend.
So basically I list a class you decide whether to take it or not. I will list different classes through out the week to keep every one interested and those who want to take the classes right away, as well as those who would like to spread them through out the summer will all be satisfied. If you sign up for a four class sailing session and decide that the casual sail is more to your liking just sign up for those classes, they are a lot of fun, as we develop friendships of people who come out sailing with me year after year. And vise versa if you are some one who likes the casual sail you are welcome to take a class that involves anchoring, navigation, or any other aspect of sailing. We try to please.
If you have any questions about any of my classes feel free to call me at 508 451 0431

To better serve your sailing needs I will be taking some surveys during the next few weeks, it would help me a great deal if you took my surveys

This coupon will save you $100 of the regular price of a Hands On Sailing Adventure. As I have said many times before, the Family hands On Sailing Adventure is my favorite way of spending time on the Bella Donna, as you and your family learn first hand how to sail a boat.
Bring yourself some drinks and snacks and under my direction you will be operating a sailboat in no time. The trip is just about 5 hours long, during which time you might expect to see Seals, Sunfish, possibly a Whale, or a Dolphin.
The holiday price for the Hands On Family Sailing Adventure is $350

I have repeat customers who rather come out sailing throughout the summer with me than have the expense of owning their own boat, We go out during weekdays or weekends if I don't have a scheduled class already full. During this class we don't learn much, we just sail. This would be a great for someone who would like to try sailing to see if they like it, or for someone who knows how to sail who would like to sail and not own a boat. The regular price for this class is $150 and the Holiday price will be $125, buy more than one if you like.

Captain Ed's Sailing has been doing charters out of Newburyport Massachusetts since 2005. Well over 200 people have gone through either a Basic Sailing , a navigation class, or a family hands on sailing charter. We offer hands on sailing instruction in a very relaxed easy to understand manner.
