   Still going strong

Labor Day weekend was not a very profitable weekend for Captain Ed's Sailing, the weather man put me out of business for Saturday, I had a fun time anyway as I spent the day in Newburyport for the music festival. No one had booked Sunday anyway, so I spent the day with my friend JC and Mika's girl friend Pebbles. We walked along town a bit then tried to get a table at the new restaurant across the river called The Deck. It has an out side deck so we tried to bring the dogs and tie them out side. That didn't work out so good, so we went on a Captain Ed's adventure. These little adventures never seem to work out perfectly, that is why they call them adventures.

We left The Deck by dingy with the two dogs and traveled across Plum Island Sound to the bridge that makes Plum Island an Island. In the process we ran aground 3 or 4 times (it was low tide) hiked through six inches of mud, and after tying the dingy to a rock  we hiked to Bobs Lobster for a couple of haddock plates. JC and I both discovered that some times the best way to get around is by car.

Nothing to say about Monday, I was lucky to be able to get off of the boat at all, had to cancel the trip that I had scheduled, with a full boat at that.

So far the weather for this weekend looks better, the Bella Donna is booked for Saturday and Sunday as well, with posable spots available for each day, as of today.

Captain Ed's Sailing is a full time business, we schedule trips for Saturday and Sundays as well as for Wednesdays, if these days do not work out for you we can do other days as well give me a call to schedule a trip.
