Mikas new glasses
We do have a rough life
It's Almost August

Believe it or not we have still been busy on the Bella Donna sailing in between the rain drops and the sog I have also been working doing training on owners boats.
This Thursday I will be training on a 23ft O'day sail boat out of Cove Marine in Salisbury, Ma. At one time the O'day 23 was a hot boat, and this boat is in good shape with a new furling system as well as new sails, so I am excited to get out on that for the day.

Also this week I have an opening on Wednesday from 11am until around 4pm as we take a nice relaxing sail along the coast. This week the tides a perfect for almost anything that we would like to do, Maybe an evening sail on Friday.

Homecoming week in downtown Newburyport is this week, commencing with fireworks on Saturday evening August 3, so a basic sail or a Family Hands on Sailing Charter may be in order. Sunday everyone will be recovering from Saturday night so we might be able to expect a light day on Sunday.

August is here and summer will be winding down shortly so now is the time to book your sailing trip.  One more thing to keep in mind, on August 11 I am planning a basic sailing trip with hopefully reaching the Isle of Shoals. I will have the details posted later, so if you are interested let me know. There are two spots available on this charter, If it fills we will do the same thing on Saturday the 10th as well.

On August 14 or so I will be bringing the Sarah Maria to Booth Bay Harbor for the Souther Cross Rendezvous on August 17, and I should be back by August 20 to do more sailing trips.

Future sailing plans look like a boat delivery to the Bahamas for the end of October. The Sarah Maria may also take a sail south for the winter to at least Georgia. You may want to friend me on Facebook so that you can follow these trips and comment as we go.

Summer is here, and the window is short, time to plan your sailing trip whether, it is an individual class, or a Hands on Sailing Adventure for your Family.

Check out the SPOT to see our trips. The best way to follow and interact with us on spot is to follow us on Facebook
