Me
Time to think sailing

This past fourth of July weekend was rather slow as I would expect, since it is a family weekend. I was on the board walk all weekend with the Sarah Maria, cleaning,  and filling my water tanks. I like the board walk, I was able to easily take Mika for his walks without having to start the engine to the dingy, and drive to shore.

If you were on the board walk for the fourth of July you would have seen both the fireworks from Amesbury as well as Salisbury Beach. You would also have caught me playing my guitar as well as a few songs on my ukulele.

Friday my friend Janet Holmes and I took our dogs for the shake down cruise to Rockport Ma. on the Sarah Maria. It was the first time that she has sailed in over a year. I am now addressing all the problems that we found, mostly cleaning and organizing the boat and lines.

This week I plan to try to get the Bella Donna along the board walk in downtown Newburyport to do a little cleaning, fill her tanks and if anyone is interested I will do some navigation classes. I should be there from around 3pm until 7pm. If you plan to come down let me know and I will look for you.

Saturday I have a family sail planned from 10am until 3pm, I can be talked into going out again from 3:30 until 8:30, for a basic sailing class or a Hands on Family Charter.

So far Sunday is open for a basic sailing class from 10am until 3pm.

During next week I have openings throughout the week particularly on either Wednesday or Thursday. Come on down and learn some sailing skills, don't be afraid of the weather I keep an eye on that through out the week, and know when to stay put. Follow me on Facebook to find out when I am on the dock, you may catch me playing a few tunes.

Summer is here, and the window is short, time to plan your sailing trip whether, it is an individual class, or a Hands on Sailing Adventure for your Family.
