Time to think sailing
This past week started off delivering Mike Scomilio's 28ft O'Day Sailboat, Sea Biscuit from Newburyport to Salem Ma, with Mike.
On Sunday we slipped in between the rain storms, and had a great Basic Sailing Class, with Julie, and Rick Traulsen, and Tennie Komar. We motored down the Merrimack River, and out to the ocean where we discussed weather directions, and how we would deal with foul weather. We learned how to reef the sails, and since the boat was moving at a nice clip we kept them reefed for the day. The wind on Sunday was from the South. With very few boats in the river as we headed in around 5pm we were able to sail up to the ice breaker.
I did not remember to turn the SPOT on for Sunday but it was on during our trip to Salem.
This week weather permitting I have openings from tomorrow right through the weekend except for friday. Come on out and pick up some sailing tips as you take my Hands on Sailing Lessons.
Summer is here, and the window is short, time to plan your sailing trip whether, it is an individual class, or a Hands on Sailing Adventure for your Family.
Check out the SPOT to see our trips. The best way to follow and interact with us on spot is to follow us on Facebook

Captain Ed's Sailing gets more popular each year, however there are always great weekends as well as weekdays available.
At the end of the day you walk away from the boat and leave the cost of owning and maintaining the boat up to me.
If you like what you see feel free to forward it to friends and family no matter where, as my clients come from around the country, as well as from around the world.
