Right now (6/7) Mika and I are just chilling on the Sarah Maria out in the middle of the Merrimack River in pouring rain realizing that this weekend is going to be a wash, with no plans for next week so far other than hopefully delivering a boat to Boston on Thursday.
Living on the Sarah Maria during rain is a great way to address problems that come up as well as getting it a little organized, I am hoping to get the Sarah Maria out for a sail within the next few weeks.
With the late start to the season I was able to pay attention to the Bella Donna, she has been sailing great, engine purring and rigging tight.
This weather cannot last long, and when it clears we will start sailing again, No one has booked any classes so far for Fathers Day weekend so if that is something that you are interested in give me a call. I am thinking of a Family hands On Sailing Charter for Sunday, and a basic sailing class on Saturday.
As long as the weather permits we will be sailing every Wednesday, and I think we will do evening sails on Fridays.
Since writing this Mika and I saw a break in the rain and made a run for home. I had tried to get the heater running but realized that I had no fuel, plus this storm looks as though it will be lasting a while.
Kathy Champagne and I took a sail along Salisbury Beach, almost reaching the Isle of Shoals, this past Wednesday. The wind was chilly, coming out of the East and we headed back before the sea built. All, and all, it was another great sail. Check out the SPOT to see our trip. The best way to follow and interact with us on spot is to follow us on Facebook

Captain Ed's Sailing gets more popular each year, however there are always great weekends as well as weekdays available.
At the end of the day you walk away from the boat and leave the cost of owning and maintaining the boat up to me.
