Captain Ed's Sailing
Mika and I have been living on the Sarah Maria for over a month now, only going home in Deerfield to check mail, and do laundry. Once you are living on a boat you have to be there to maintain the systems, (ice box), so that the milk, eggs, and beer don't go bad. Besides it's fun, I love getting up in the morning with a little alone time from Mika the Wonder Dog, as I make a pot of coffee, some bacon and eggs, or a bowl of Cheerios. This past week has been slow with the rain, Ed McCormack took his family out on a family sailing charter, and ended up sailing out to the isle Of Shoals. My free time has been devoted to cleaning both of the boats and making the Sarah Maria more livable. This week is home coming week in Newburyport, with everything going on I will be around town hopefully towards the end of the week since Monday and Tuesday I will be bringing a 27ft C&C down from Portland, Maine to Newburyport as a training delivery. They will be firing off the fire works on August 4th. I am planning classes on Friday as well as Saturday and Sunday. Give me a call if you are interested in either a sailing class or a Family Learn to Sail Charter. Captain Ed's Sailing gets more popular each year, however there are always great weekends as well as weekdays available. At the end of the day you walk away from the boat and leave the cost of owning and maintaining the boat up to me. Please, please, please I beg of thee if you are coming sailing with us TAKE SEA SICK MEDICATION. I can not stress this enough, you cannot believe how sick you can get.
Call or email to reserve your spot for this summer.
