Captain Ed's Sailing
Well summer is over and the Bella Donna will be out of the water by next weekend October 6th. I want to thank everyone for their support of Captain Ed's Sailing this year, whether by taking a sailing lesson, or charter, or by just checking out my email as faithfully as some of you have . We are not over yet. The Sarah Maria is still in the water and will be in use up to October 15th after that I will be helping Rudy Jasper deliver his 46ft Hunter to the Virgin Islands. I have picked a great crew for this trip and it should be a pretty interesting adventure. The log for this trip has already started as Rudy, George Macgown, and I have already met a few times in order to make sure his boat is prepared for the trip. Check out my facebook page as I will be posting during this trip when can. Kaliegh Duggan , her mom and dad, as well as I are members of the Southern Cross Boat Owners Association. Kaliegh and her dad Bill Duggan were part of a crew on the tall ship CorwithCramer under the watch of Captain Sean Bercaw from Rockland Maine to Rode Island.

Other things
Greetings!
Sailing is not for everyone, so I try to list other things that you would like to try while in the Newburyport area. This past week I met William Barrett the new owner of The EZ Pedaler located at 40R Merrimac St Newburyport MA. between Davis electric and the Newburyport chamber of commerce. He is selling as well as renting motorized bicycles. Check him out as this is something that I may want to try before the summer is over. Also don't forget Captains Fishing Parties out at the end of Plumb Island . I like the flounder fishing trips as I don't often have the time or desire to be out fishing for a full day, I also like coming home with fish.
