You be the Chemist!
Dear Parents and OLF Families,

Our recent challenge "You be the Chemist" was an exciting competition for our 8th Graders. The Science Lab was filled with suspense by all Junior High students, as they cheered their classmates on.

After four rounds of competition ranging from elements on the period table to the 1990's loss of space equipment by NASA, our students measured themselves against other schools in the area.

OLF will be represented in the regional challenge in the months ahead! We are excited that our science department is strong and that students are taking pride in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Maintaining a competitive edge is important for the success of our wonderful students and our academic programs. Keep up the great work, Falcons!

Blessings,

Beate Nguyen, M.A. Ed

Annual Giving Campaign Update

Thank you to all the families who have sent a contribution to this year's 2012-2013 Annual Giving Campaign.  The funds raised make possible many of the programs, activities and resources necessary to educate our children to strive for excellence and become the best Catholics they can be.

We would like to share with you that 57.04% of our OLF families have currently donated.  We are more than half-way there and need every family's help!  Our goal is to have 100% family participation through prayer to open the door for grants and to raise $40,000 in total financial donations.

If you have not participated, we invite you to do so today.  If you have pledged and have not sent in your contribution, we ask you to so today! We are counting on every family's participation in order to reach our goal. OLF has a strong history of family participation in the Annual Giving Campaign that we want to continue.  Those who have made a contribution will be invited to the "Thank You Lunch".

As a reminder, The Employer "Matching Gift" program is an easy way to help us achieve our financial goal and doesn't cost anything to ask your Human Resources department.

Pledge forms and remittance envelopes are in the box located in the clinic.

Without your gift of time and talent we wouldn't be as successful at raising the treasure!

Saturday, April 27th, 2013 is Our Lady of Fatima Parish School's Annual Gala

This is a time honored tradition that you do not want to miss.

  • If you have access to any  tickets for sporting events or concerts - we would love them!
  • Also, baskets, buckets, tins and tubs...we sure could use these for our auction baskets, please leave in clinic with it tagged for the Auction!
  • We are still in need of wine for the auction wine cellar.  If each family could donate one extra bottle of wine, it would be appreciated.
  • Donate any new items to the auction, and pick up a tax receipt in the clinic auction box!

In anticipation of the largest event of the year, we are looking for new items to be donated to our event.

We would most certainly appreciate any and all new donations.

Please contact Claudine Schulte @ 949-370-5713 or  cschulte@express.com
BOX TOP COLLECTIONS CONTINUE
Please continue to clip and save Box Tops, Soup Labels and ink cartridges. These may be turned in to the clinic.   Thank you to everyone who has been saving and bringing these in!
