Early Childhood Education | |
Dear Parents and OLF Families,
Providing excellence in early childhood education is a very big responsibility. At our school, we have been blessed to be able to provide this service in a loving, nurturing learning environment. Over the past years, we were unable to accept many requests for admission of four-year old children, because we were unable to accommodate their needs.
Last year, the Diocese of Orange introduced a Transitional Kindergarten program that provides an academic early childhood education to children who are four years of age by September 1st. This is not a preschool, but a two-year academic Kindergarten program.
Currently, MAP provides a similar learning environment, but a Transitional Kindergarten could increase the opportunities for our "littlest ones" to become part of our OLF Family.
If you or someone you know is looking for an early childhood learning program for a four-year old or five-year old child, please contact me directly! We want to serve your needs for faith-filled early childhood education and need to gauge the demand for such services within our community.

The weather forecast looks great for this Saturday, our Beautification Day! We start our traditional event with the first shift from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and the second shift from noon to 4:00 p.m. Each family is encouraged to participate and demonstrate our Falcon pride!

Campus Safety Task Force 2013 Update

At our recent PoF meeting, we discussed our campus safety with the input from parents and other members of the OLF learning community. There are several valid proposals and ideas that will require follow-up and support in order to make this a successful effort. If you are interested in serving on the Campus Safety Task Force, we would like to know! Thank you, Carlo Wilkinson for assisting in leading this important task!

Our Mardi Gras Casino Night is fast approaching! Do you want to treat your friends to an evening of fun? Would your spouse enjoy a Valentine's treat? Here is your opportunity to purchase the tickets at the presale price of $35 per person until January 18th! After that date, the price is regular admission of $45 per person!
This fundraiser is a vital part of our 2012-13 school budget and is sponsored by the Parents of Fatima to replace this year's cancelled Golf Tournament. Mardi Gras Casino Night is a separate event from our Annual Auction on April 27, 2013! Saturday, April 27th, 2013 is Our Lady of Fatima Parish School's Annual Gala. This is a time honored tradition that you do not want to miss.
- We are looking for any tickets to sporting events or concerts that you may have
- In addition, if you have any leftover gift cards, or Christmas gifts that you would be willing to part with, we'd love them
- Also, baskets, buckets, tins and tubs...we sure could use these for our auction baskets, please leave in clinic with it tagged for the Auction
- Donate any new items to the auction, and pick up a tax receipt in the clinic auction box
