Dear Parents, OLF Families and Alumni,

We are pleased to inform you that our 8th Grade student, Chris Nicol has placed among the top four winners in the poster contest for the Orange County Catholic Charities. The contest was open to children from MAP to 8th Grade, and our teachers integrated the project in a cross-curricular manner with Religion and Visual Arts.  

• The 1st Place Winner was Andre Orate, Servite H.S.
• Junior High category: Chris Nicol, Our Lady of Fatima
• Intermediate category: Cesar Venegas, School of Our Lady
• Primary category: Nicole Paer, St. Anne's School

The theme for the contest this year was "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." This is not an easy illustration to create, but Chris captured it brilliantly!
