Catholic Schools Week Service Project
Our school wide service project for Catholic School's Week will
benefit the Miriam's House. As with most organizations they are in
desperate need of our help. A flyer is included which contains a list
of the most needed items. Our goal is to create "baskets" with the
supplies which will be given to the families they service.

The Annual Holy Cross Spelling Bee is just around the corner. Don't delay and start preparing today. Words can be found on www.myspellit.com to help prepare for the event. The winner of the Bee will represent Holy Cross at the Regional Spelling Bee.
Yea rbook Deadlines
The Holy Cross Yearbook will be available this year in late May. The staff decided students would like to sign yearbooks. Many of us have fond memories of what our classmates wrote and want the students to have those memories. Pictures of events after the final deadline will be available to add as a supplement to your student's yearbook.
Due to the earlier delivery date, business and personal ads must be at the school by February1st.
Please use the forms below to submit personal or business ad information. All photos sent in will be scanned and returned. You may also send photos electronically to yearbook@hcrs-va.org.

Key Club News: Please help us to make sandwiches and bag cereal after school in the cafeteria on Thursday, 1/28. Needed supplies: loaves of 100% wheat bread; boxes/bags of healthy cereal; creamy peanut butter; jam We have decided to collect the following for the local animal shelters/humane societies: towels, blankets, clumping kitty litter, paper towels, dog/cat toys, dog/cat treats, Purina Cat Chow, Purina Kitten Chow, Purina Dog Food, and Purina Puppy Chow. Please send ALL donations down to my room, 104! We need volunteers to serve at the Lynchburg Daily Bread on Sunday, 2/7 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. They prefer students in 8th grade and up or adults to serve.
