Drama and Desserts
Join us on November 14th at 7:00 for a one-act play that will take you back to your childhood followed by coffee, dessert, and music. Cost is $5 per person.
Key Club News: Sign up to make sandwiches and bag cereal after school in the cafeteria on Tuesday, 11/10. Needed supplies: loaves of 100% wheat bread boxes/bags of healthy cereal creamy peanut butter I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who sent in baked goods for our bake sale during the Chili Cook-Off. SCHOLASTIC FALL BOOK FAIR BEGINS THIS WEEK!

The Scholastic book fair begins this week with a preview day on Friday, November 13! We are still looking for a few helpers on Nov. 13th in the morning to help students make wish lists from about 8:30 until 10:30 or whatever amount of time you can spare in that timeframe. Look for a wish list/note to come home with your student that Friday. The shopping day for all classes
together will be Monday, November 16th. There are several opportunities outside of the school day.

BARNES & NOBLE/HOLY CROSS SCHOOL EVENT-DECEMBER 12th (through Dec. 17th) Mark your calendars for the upcoming Holy Cross Barnes & Noble book fair event. Between December 12th and Dec. 17th, Holy Cross School will earn a percentage of all purchases made by our families and friends at any Barnes & Noble stores or online. Simply present the voucher to the cashier, or key in the bookfair ID # if ordering online. If you have no voucher with you, tell the cashier you are with the Holy Cross bookfair. (Vouchers with ID# will be sent home but are also available in office and on website.) This is a great opportunity for Holy Cross to earn $ while we shop. All items are included: books, gifts, CDs, DVDs, etc. (purchase of gift cards do not count but you may redeem them during fair) On Saturday, December 12th from 1-3, we will have some musical performances by our own students, as well as a Storytime and make and take bookmarks. Please come out that day to the local Barnes and Noble store when Holy Cross will be featured. Stay tuned for more details. Spread the word to everyone you know!!
