The Annual Middle School Fun Day will take place on Friday, October 30th from 11:15-1:35. Middle school students will have a "free dress"day (following Holy Cross Guidelines) with orange and black accessories. Students will be dismissed at 1:35 so lunch will not be served in the cafeteria. Students can bring a lunch from home or $3.00 for Chick Fillet nuggets. Please see order form. Our first Middle School Social of the year will be on Friday, October 30th from 7:30-9:30. Holy Cross students and their friends in grades 6th - 8th are invited. The cost is $7.00 per person. The dress code is casual but no shorts, tanks, etc see permission form. (Costumes are optional.) The completed permission form and the fee is due to your Homeroom Teacher by October 27th. Drama and Desserts
Join us on November 14th at 7:00 for two one-act plays performed by our talented high school students and enjoy delicious desserts. Find out who the rock, paper, scissors champ will be and watch as "something" takes over the world!
Parent Teacher Conferences for MS and HS parents are Monday, November 2nd. Please download and complete the form below and return to the front office by Tuesday, October 27th. Teachers will confirm time of conference.

Boo Grams9th grade is preparing BOO GRAMS with messages and candy. For $2 you can get a ghost or pumpkin note and some M&M's or Skittles. These will be sold until Tuesday, October 27th and delivered on Friday, October 30th.

Wednesday, November 4th the Lynchburg College coaches are coming for a basketball clinic for the middle school boys.
The time is 6:30pm - 8:30pm. All interested middle school boys should plan on attending this basketball clinic!

Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off
Join us for a delicious and fun event from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 7! Fifteen plus teams will be presenting their prize chili recipes while attendees will enjoy music, children's activities and more! Celebrity judges will judge Best Decorations, Hottest, Most Unique and Gael's Favorite! Tickets are available at the gate: $15 for adults and $5 for children. Chili, hotdogs, sodas and spirits (latter for an additional charge) will also be available! Proceeds benefit Holy Cross Regional Catholic School. Thanks go to our PTO for organizing this! Work out at CASA Superhero Run before the Chili Fest!
Holy Cross School is also sponsoring the CASA Superhero Run on November 7. Make it a full day of fun and get your exercise prior to eating lots of chili! To sign up for the 5K or Children's Run at www.lynchburgsuperherorun.com.
Key Club News: Sign up to make sandwiches and bag cereal after school in the cafeteria on Tuesday, 10/27. Parents, teachers, and students are encouraged to help! If you are a 5th-12th grade student, then we can use your assistance! Needed supplies: loaves of 100% wheat bread boxes/bags of healthy cereal creamy peanut butter Our next day to serve at the Lynchburg Daily Bread will be from 9:00 a.m. until about 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, 11/1. Middle school students may serve, but a parent MUST volunteer with them. High school students do not need a parent with them. Please let me know if you would like to sign up! We are sponsoring a Bake Sale during the Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, 11/. 7 We will need you to send in some of your scrumptious baked goods on Friday, 11/6!!
