Poinsettia Plant Sale

Sponsored by the

Holy Cross Elementary/Middle School Drama Club

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to order your poinsettia plants from us!  Our plants are delivered to the school by locally owned Gary's Garden Center in Forest.  Proceeds from our sale will help us defer the cost of our spring production of  "The Wizard of Oz."

Plants are available in three sizes and three colors, so we have a color for you!  Download the order form below or from the Renweb Resource Documents tab and return to the school by Friday, December 5th.  Plants will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Auditions for Wizard of Oz

Students in grades 3-8 who are interested in joining the cast of the Wizard of Oz should sign up with Mrs. Shenigo.  Auditions will be held on Sunday December 14.  Students should prepare a short song, if they wish to have any type of solo part.  Times for the auditions will be announced after Thanksgiving.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shenigo.  Performance dates are May 22-23 at Lynchburg College.

Christmas Wish List 2014
Once again, we are presenting the traditional Christmas wish list tree for the library. Through this program, families are able to donate a book to the library/media centers in honor of a  faculty/staff member, or in honor of a child, memory of a loved one, etc.  Look in the front lobby for directions on how you can participate this year. We will have it up ready before
Thanksgiving. This program enables us to add wonderful books to our collection each year. It's a gift that keeps on giving!  Stay tuned for more!
