Key Club News:

  • We will be making sandwiches after school on Wednesday, November 12th, and we could use 100% whole wheat bread and boxes/bags of healthy cereal.

  • The Salvation Army is in desperate need of breakfast foods to feed the hungry. If anyone has any of the needed items just sitting in the house and wants to drop them off, then I will deliver everything to them. Here is a list, but any breakfast foods will be greatly appreciated:  eggs, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and supplies, juice, milk, syrup, pancake mix, sugar, Etc.

  • We need people to help serve at the Lynchburg Daily Bread on Sunday, November 30th from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. High school students and adults are preferred. Middle school students may help, but a parent MUST volunteer with them.

  • THANK YOU for all of the support of our Pink-Out Day bake sales and cash register change collections. We have managed to collect $824 for cancer research!!!!

---Thanks so much for your continued generosity and support of our mission to serve the needy in the greater Lynchburg area!!!

Kid-free Shopping Day November 22, 2014

Do you have your Christmas shopping done yet?? Have you even started?? Is it hard to get this done with the kids?? Well, the Holy Cross PTO has the answer for you! On Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 1 pm to 5 pm, the PTO is sponsoring a "Kid-free Shopping Day"! Adults and older children will be on hand to watch your children while you shop...or give you time to just relax! As long as your child is age 3 and above (and potty trained) our volunteers will provide crafts, games and so much more to keep them entertained while you help Santa get the things on your list. For the low cost of only $5 per child per hour, you can have up to 4 hours of "Kid-free Shopping" time. Have more than one child?? No problem! For an additional $2 per child per hour, we can watch all of your kids! Help support the Holy Cross PTO ...and your holiday sanity... sign up to take advantage of our "Kid-free Shopping Day"!
