2014 World Food Day on October 16, 2014

Holy Cross participated in the 2014 Catholic Youth World Food Day in a special way.  The morning began with an 8:15 liturgy lead by our Chaplin Father Gallagher.  The third, fourth and fifth grade classes lead us in joyful songs, while the eighth grade lead us in reflection and prayer.  Bracelets commemorating the event were proudly worn by students and faculty showing unity and solidarity.

Holy Cross will be sending all donations to Cross Catholic Outreach to help end hunger. Any student, faculty and or staff member, who contributed will have a Jeans Day onMonday, Oct 27th.  Participants are encouraged to wear a Holy Cross Shirt and their bracelet as a sign of unity with their jeans.  Thank you for your generosity and support.

Monday, October 27 will be a free dress day for those students who donated to the World Hunger efforts in their homerooms.
