Students must also hold a 93 average in the class in order to be considered for exemption. Students should speak directly to teachers to find out their status on exams. We will hold our annual May Crowning with our morning liturgy on Thursday, May 15 at 8:15 am. All are welcome! Consumer Convention has been an opportunity for 7th graders to develop, design, and conduct an experiment, and then present their results in the form of an abstract and backboard, without undergoing the stress of science fair judging. They use the scientific method to conduct an investigation to discover the answer to a scientific problem. The themes for the projects involve comparisons between or among three or more brands of a particular product. Please consider taking a few minutes on Wednesday, May 21st between 1:40 - 3:05 to stop by the cafeteria to see their displays. There is a signup sheet on the teacher lounge door for classroom teachers to bring their classes.
Congratulations to Ms. Lexi Quinn who will receive the Optimist Club's Excellence in Theatre Award at a luncheon on Thursday, May 16.

Grandparents and special friends visited classrooms afterwards and were then treated to tours of our extensive art gallery spanning the elementary wing to the front office, culminating with refreshments in the conference room.

Spring Cleaning? Perhaps we can help!
Please consider donating any used items to our new Causeworthy collection box in the school parking lot!
Each year in Virginia, over half a billion pounds of clothing, shoes and textiles will be disposed of in one form or another. Statistically 88% of this will end up in landfills, yet the EPA shows that over 95% of this is still recyclable. Causeworthy containers placed locally in Central Virginia over the past 12 months have reaped rewards of $30-200 per month per container! Please limit donations to shoes, clothing and books at this point.
