Class pictures have been re-scheduled for Monday, March 10

News from the PTO:
The Craft Fair scheduled for Saturday, March 29 has been cancelled due to a lack of participation from vendors.  We have learned that spring does not seem to be a prime time for participation as most fairs are in the winter or early summer.  The PTO regrets this decision but will renew its efforts to hold a fabulous craft fair again next winter in conjunction with our Santa's Breakfast. Thank you for your continued support of our PTO as we support our teachers, staff and students at HCRS.

null Time for Re-registration!

It's that time of year again! You will find below and in Renweb all the materials to make your child's re-registration simple and easy.  In this packet, you will find updated information regarding re-registration, tuition, fees,  and financial aid.  Please make sure to return your form and payment to Director of Enrollment Catherine Mosley as soon as possible as we use our spring enrollment numbers to make decisions about programming and staffing.   New families, self-employed families, and families with business income must complete their FACTS applications by June 1.  Click here to download form:
Yearbooks are now on sale.  Please order your yearbook through our school office.   You may download the form here or find it on Renweb.

Key Club News
--We will be making sandwiches again for the Lynchburg Daily Bread on Wednesday, March 12th. If anyone would like to help, then please let me know.
--We will also need about 10 loaves of 100% wheat bread next week, so please consider donating a loaf or two to help feed the hungry in our community.
--Please continue to send in any gently used books for the children, teens, or young adults who visit the Daily Bread.
--I will be out of town the week of Spring Break, so I am looking for someone to take on making the sandwiches that week. Please let me know if you would like to get a group together to make them. I can give you the supplies or your group can donate them! We haven't missed a week yet since we started in the middle of September!

NATIONAL AWARD-WINNING CHILDREN'S AUTHOR VISITS

HCRS MARCH 4

National award-winning children's author Julia Cook visited Holy Cross Regional Catholic School on Tuesday, March 4 and read from her books that tackle topics like peer pressure, anger management, social skills, and even booger-picking.

Cook travels the country, talking to children, parents and educators about tough subjects like bullying, predator safety, anxiety and depression, just to name a few of her 63 book topics. Cook spoke to Mrs. Rony's fourth grade class, the entire elementary school, the elementary teachers and then topped things off with a public event co-sponsored by HCRS and Givens Books and hosted by Amazement Square.
