That night, at 7 p.m., Holy Cross School joins Amazement Square and Given's Books & Little Dickens in hosting a public event with Julia Cook at the Amazement Square Warehouse, next to the Museum at 27 Ninth Street. Bibliotherapy in Action, an entertaining discussion on the use of her storybooks to offer children and adults a fun way to learn important problem-solving and people skills. She will talk about ta ckling problems such as tattling, interrupting, personal safety, risk taking, peer pressure, bullying and even nose picking through active learning. Parents and educators can walk away with ideas that they can really use! The event is free and open to the public. Our students will serve as ushers. A Scrip Testimonial from Holly Main
Ordering gift cards from the Holy Cross School scrip program is one of the easiest, most efficient ways to help the school to earn funds. And at no extra cost to you! You simply purchase scrip/gift cards for retailers that you would patronize, or use as gifts for others! My 2 sisters are some of the best customers that Holy Cross School has, so ask your friends and family to order as well! The list of retailers is long and growing every year! It's a no brainer fundraiser for Holy Cross!! When I go out to eat at Logans Roadhouse for example, I am having a good meal and without me spending an extra penny, Holy Cross School has earned 10% for the school!!
