Dear HC Families,
November is here and we are already hearing of potential icy weather next week.  Please be reminded that in the event of a school delay, early closing or full day closing, we will send out a parent alert via our RenWeb system.  This means you will receive a phone call to the numbers listed in your parent portal.  Please be sure to update any changes to phone numbers.  We will also share any news of changes to the school schedule on WSET (TV) and the radio stations:  WROV, WJJS, WYYD, WSNV and WSFF.  We will do our best to make decisions in a timely way.

Tis the Season for Outerwear
The days are getting chillier and students are pulling out the sweaters, fleeces, scarves, gloves, and hats.  Please label all clothing in some manner. If your child is missing an item, check the lost and found container in the gym or hooks near the chapel.  Remember, students may only wear HC items in the school.  There are reasonably priced items in the used uniform area of the office and there is an HC spirit wear sale going on right now.  (See next article below for spirit wear sale!)

null Spirit Wear Sale

They make great Christmas presents! We have everything from hoodies to sweatpants to duffel bags to lunch boxes for the kids. Dad might like the green fleece or a baseball hat. Mom might like the roomy tote bag or a visor.

Stocking stuffers include a cute green beanie, baseball hats, visors, water bottles, koozies, and cinch packs.

Hurry and order - sale ends Friday, November 15. Orders will be available in time for Christmas. Please turn in order forms, with payment (cash or check), to the front desk.  Click here to download an order form:  Spirit Wear Order Form

HS Dinner Theatre December 8

Plan to attend the HS Dinner Theatre presentation of the one-act play, Cyrano de Bergerac on Sunday, December 8 (note date change).   Regarded as one of the greatest dramas ever written, this story of the silver-tongued soldier whose unfortunate looks drive him to woo his love by speaking for his handsome but dull-witted rival is beloved around the world.  You will laugh and cry -- don't miss this event.  Click on this flyer for more details:  Cyrano Dinner Theatre
