Last Tuesday Communion Service with Deacon Gordon will be Tuesday, May 21.

Don't miss it!  Retirement Picnic for Mr. Bill Cloyd and Mrs. Sherry Schemmel will be held on Sunday, June 2 from 2-5 pm. HC will provide sandwiches and drinks - please bring a side dish to share.  Also bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the picnic.  We will collect notes of memories for Bill and Sherry to create "memory boxes" with notecards, anecdotes, stories that they can read at their leisure. Be sure to share a memory in the box (prepare beforehand or write at the event).  

Inventory Please remember to return all books to the both libraries by Monday, May 20^th, as inventory will begin this week. Books that are checked out for a school project/book report may be kept longer. See Mrs. Main to get an extension.  Overdue notices will be sent home each day next week. Thanks for your help and cooperation in getting all of the books back!

Accelerated Reader Store- We will have one final A.R. store on Mon. June 3rd during which students in grades 1-5 will have a chance to spend their hard earned points from the Accelerated Reader program. If you have any items that you would like to donate for the store, contact Mrs. Main or drop them by the library anytime and mark them "AR prizes". (items such as unused happy meal prizes, beanie babies in good shape, other items appealing to 1^st-5^th grade)  main_h@hcrs-va.org   Thank you so much for any donations you can give!

Save the date: 

   New & Used Uniform Sale is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. 

    As of this summer, all new Holy Cross uniform pieces purchased through our provider, Flynn & O'Hara, will have the new logo.    
    Students may still wear items with the previous Holy Cross logo as part of their school uniform.
