BARNES & NOBLE
We would like to thank all of the families, faculty, and students who participated in our Barnes and Noble book fair this past week! A special thanks goes to Allison Barnes and the elementary and middle school students who played and sang on Saturday during our special events. Thanks to Mrs. Schemmel who read stories to the children. Many faculty and staff supported us during our time to shine. For those that purchased items from Barnes and Noble, you have helped us to obtain new books for the library with our profit! We will keep you posted on how we did!
CHRISTMAS WISH TREE
The Christmas wish tree is up in the lobby and there are ornaments still available. These are books that we would like to purchase for our libraries. You can donate one in honor of a teacher or staff, your own child, or in memory of a loved one. You can also honor more than one teacher with a book. Simply choose a title from the tree, fill out the back and return with cash or check made out to Holy Cross School and return to the office or to Mrs. Main. Do not purchase the book. We will order from our library bound company. The donor and the honored individual's name will be put on a bookplate inside the book. We need all money and ornaments turned in by no later than Mon. Dec. 17th. Contact Mrs. Main if you have any questions or can not get in to get titles from the tree! We can help you! main_h@hcrs-va.org

A Christmas Shopping Note to all MS/HS Parents:
It would be most helpful for all middle or high school students to have a pair of inexpensive ear buds to use in our media lab. Students are encouraged to keep a pair handy in their backpack! Please encourage Santa to include a pair in their stocking!
