Thanksgiving wishes from Mrs. Culbreth ...
Dear Families,
I wish each of you a very blessed Thanksgiving. It is hard to believe we have completed our first marking period and are well on the way to finishing our first semester. We can be so proud of the many accomplishments of our students in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. We never have a dull moment at Holy Cross School, and we have much to celebrate! I know I am very thankful for the many blessings your children give to us each day. God bless you and yours at this Thanksgiving time.
Congratulations to Maddie Luther who was named a winner in the National Family Week essay contest sponsored by the Presbyterian Homes and Family Services and the Family Alliance. Maddie will be honored with her family on Monday evening, November 19 at 6 pm at the James River Conference Center. Congratulations to Maddie! Thank you to Mrs. Adams and to all our fourth graders who participated; you showed the Lynchburg community what strong writers we have at Holy Cross School. Well done! Mr. Chas Seabolt, alum of Holy Cross, will sell trees, wreaths and greenery beginning Wednesday, November 20 after 2 pm.
