National Marina Day is June 13!

Bye April, Hello Prime NMD Planning Month!  As May approaches, it is time to consider where you are in planning your National Marina Day extravaganza.

On the second Saturday in June each year, marinas are asked to open their doors and invite boaters and non-boaters in to experience a day on the water and the marina lifestyle.

Marinas across the country host events that include everything from opportunities to drive and paddle boats or take tours of USCG vessels, to land side lunches and nautical craft shows. Anything goes at these fun-filled family days designed to showcase off boating.

Register your event on the National Marina Day website to ensure visitors (and the media) can find you. In addition, Discover Boating is again providing banners for those that register their event.

The website is also filled with suggested activities and templates and guides on how to pull off your event. Visit today to learn more.
