 2015 New Jersey Boat Sale and Expo 

Set to Cruise Into Edison  

 

Manasquan, February 11, 2015 - The 2015 New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo will cruise into the NJ Convention & Expo Center on February 19-22, 2015.  Presented by Interlux Yacht Finishes, Star brite Marine Products and Travelers Ocean Marine Insurance, the show will feature hundreds of new boats on sale by over 30 of the state's top dealers.

 

One of the major boat show attractions in the Tri-State area, this year's event truly does have something for every member of the family to enjoy.  According to Melissa Danko, Executive Director of the MTA/NJ, "The MTA/NJ, and all the event sponsors and exhibitors are geared up to provide boat lovers with our best show ever.  The timing is perfect for people to take advantage of this one-stop opportunity to see and buy top-of-the line boats and marine merchandise, services and accessories.  If you have never been to one, we can guarantee that you will be pleasantly surprised at everything this boat show offers."  

 

Close to 80 brands of boats will be on display at the show, representing a large fleet of fishing boats, family cruisers, express boats, pontoon boats, bow riders, deck boats, personal watercraft and more.  All of the major manufacturers will be showcased including Boston Whaler, Angler, Edgewater, Regal, Crownline, Chris-Craft , Grady-White, Steiger Craft, Regulator, Wellcraft, Cobalt, Chaparrel, Four-Winns,  AquaSport, Southwind, Caravelle, Glastron, Hurricane, Larson, Triumph, Hydra-Sports Custom, Glacier Bay, Century, Pro-Line, Parker, Ranger, Bryant, Formula, Bennington, May-Craft, Key Largo, and dozens of additional major and regional brands.  The large selection of multiple brands in a single, easy to get to and affordable venue creates a convenient experience for current and would-be boaters to study and compare the products of many manufacturers in one location. 

 

The Expo will also include a Boater's Marketplace packed with marine equipment and accessories, water sports gear, fishing tackle and supplies, electronics, insurance and banking services, and marina facilities. For children, the popular Kids Cove with its Fish N' Sails theme this year will keep the little skippers busy with face painting by Jessea the Mermaid, build-a-boat and make a fishing lure activities courtesy of the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, hands-on educational activities from Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program, Jenkinson's Aquarium and The Cooper Environmental Center at Cattus Island County Park. 

 

The Recreational Fishing Alliance, a grassroots organization devoted to preserving the recreation rights of sport  fishermen, will host a series of 14 informative and entertaining seminars throughout the four-day boat show covering such topics as Garden State wreck fishing, Lake Hopatcong and Greenwood Lake largemouth bass fishing, taming lunker striped bass, offshore fishing secrets, faking out doormat fluke,  castnetting and livelining for stripers and bluefin tuna, New Jersey's sportfishing history and more.  On Saturday, February 21, 2015 "Captains Day" will feature top tips from NJ charter and party fishing professionals.  Safe boating techniques and maintenance seminars also are also planned.

Admission: $8.00 per person at the door; 16 years and younger are free when accompanied by an adult.
