Hurricane Sandy Recovery Resources and Information Update #4
We are continuing our efforts to obtain information and resources for those impacted by the storm. The MTA/NJ office is up and running and open to any member that needs to use our phones, fax, internet or copy machine. We have a small space but a friendly one that is here to help.
Resources and Assistance Available: A number of our members have contacted us offering their assistance and items available. We have expanded the list to include: boat storage space, office space, cranes, dumpsters, environmental consulting, diesel generators, diesel pumps, boat stands, and clean up services. Please contact us if you are in need of any assistance, even if it is not something listed above. Storm Recovery Conference Call Tomorrow For Small Business Owners
Governor Chris Christie announced that small business owners have the opportunity tomorrow to join a conference call with senior officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), New Jersey Economic Development Authority and the New Jersey Business Action Center to discuss the federal and state governments' efforts to help small businesses and homeowners recover from Hurricane Sandy. Officials will provide updates and answer questions about assistance and support to states affected by the aftermath of the storm. The MTA/NJ will be participating on the call and will be updated members with additional information.
