Forum welcomes 10 new trustees at Annual Meeting

The Forum elected 10 new Trustees to the organization's 60-member Board at its annual meeting on January 14, and re-elected 16 Trustees to new three-year terms. The new Trustees are:

  • Grady Crosby, Johnson Controls
  • Darienne Driver, Milwaukee Public Schools
  • Stephanie Hacker, GRAEF
  • Jennie Kent, Quad/Graphics
  • Vicki Martin, Milwaukee Area Technical College
  • Barry McNulty, We Energies
  • Russ Pederson, Deloitte
  • Gerald Peterson, City of Oak Creek
  • Denine Rood, Waukesha County Technical College
  • Charlie Webb, CH2M Hill

"We are very fortunate to be able to bring to the Forum new leadership from such an impressive array of Greater Milwaukee businesses and institutions," says Forum President Rob Henken. "This impressive mix of people from several of our region's most prominent corporations, two of our state's foremost technical colleges, our largest school district, and one of our fastest-growing municipalities, will provide invaluable expertise and energy to the Forum as we move forward with our new strategic plan."

The Forum's Board of Trustees also voted to re-install the existing slate of officers for an additional year, with one exception: Keith Lester of Rockwell Automation replaces Kristine Hinrichs as one of the organization's three vice chairs. Hinrichs is stepping down after a lengthy tenure but will remain a member of the Forum's Executive Committee. Andy Schiesl of Gardner Denver will be serving the second year of his term as Board Chair.

The annual meeting was held at the Wisconsin Club and was attended by more than 150 Forum members and friends. The meeting's program included a sneak preview of the Forum's new report on bus transit and a keynote presentation by Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary Mark Gottlieb. Secretary Gottlieb discussed the department's reconstruction plans for the I-94 East-West Corridor and I-43, as well as the upcoming state budget.
